Browser-local file processing
The current image and text cleaners run in the visitor’s browser. The selected file is not transmitted to ClearFile’s server during this operation. ClearFile does not create an account or maintain a personal history of cleaned files.
Technical operation
The hosting provider may process an IP address, browser details, timestamps, security events and request logs to deliver and protect the website. Hosting provider: Vercel Inc. and its infrastructure partners, subject to the final deployment configuration.
Google AdSense and cookies
If advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses and device information to provide, measure and personalize ads according to the visitor’s choices. Advertising is disabled in the source configuration until the publisher activates it.
For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the publisher must activate a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework before serving personalized ads. Consent choices and revocation must be available through that platform.
What we do not do
We do not sell uploaded files, publish cleaned results or use file content to build advertising profiles. This promise applies to the browser-local cleaner; future tools must describe any different processing before a user selects a file.
Your choices
You can decline advertising consent through the consent message, use browser privacy controls, or leave the website. Keep the original file and avoid processing confidential documents when you do not understand the risks.
